The Gastonia, even though it looks fearsome with the large spines on its back and long tail, is actually a herbivore. This dinosaur, which belongs to the avian dinosaur family (that means bird-like), only pretends to be dangerous. With its boney and scaly armour, the Gastonia is one tough dinosaur. It may have butted heads with rivals during the Cretaceous period.
