The Stegosaurus has huge red curved armoured plates on its back and green yellow lizard like skin. Its favourite thing to do is graze. That's what a Stegosaurus does all day long because it takes a while for the 4.5-ton, 9 metre long herbivore to eat enough to keep going. Other dinosaurs must be careful not to disturb it while it's grazing, as it could lash out with its imposing spiked tail.
